USA the Industry, China the Government, EU the People.

Politics & Society

Short thesis:

In the United States, companies rule out the way of life for the people. In China, the government determines what is public knowledge and what stays behind closed doors. Can the European Union be a place where everybody rules the way our society works?

"Any company with more than 1 million (recurring) users is required to provide a requesting user with all data associated with this user free of charge, without delay and in a machine readable format." Is this a way of finding true data control in the EU? Is this a way of enabling ourselves - 500 million people - to gain power over the way we are treating personal data?
